“If we’re smiling at each other on the outside, but inside we’re really feeling disconnected & alone – then we’re not really hearing each other’s stories. But when we speak from the heart & are vulnerable & honest – the stories we share create a deep love for each other.” – Pastor Michaele

What is a Parish Group?

When we use the word “parish,” we’re talking about belonging and giving care to a specific place and the people of that place. Parish groups meet in homes to offer care to one another and to others around them. When we use the word “parish,” we’re talking about belonging and giving care to a specific place and the people of that place. These groups provide the perfect opportunity for us to take care of one another, create a place of belonging, and live out our desires to be good neighbors.

How do I figure out which group I should join?

First, geography. We want parish groups to be made up of neighbors who can work together to be good neighbors to those around them.

Second, where people “do life.” You might live in one neighborhood, but spend most of your time in another. It might make sense for you to belong to a group there.

Third, stage of life and family. We want our groups to be inter-generational as much as possible. But, we also want families with kids to have a place where their kids can be with other kids.
